Nice cozy spot to get dinner! We got the karaage, kalguksu (the best I've had in a while) and tteokbokki. I found that their tteokbokki tasted better than the ones I tried in Korea, so definitely will be returning! It may not look like a lot at first glance, but they do not cheap out on the portion sizes which makes the price pretty reasonable imo. For those who do not eat pork, the menu will be limited, but there are still some great yummy options!

The staff here are so friendly and the whole place is super cozy and warm. I've tried a bunch of the dishes but the tteokgalbi slider and perilla cream kalguksu are definitely my favourites! If you are looking for something lighter I'd also recommend the beef tartare and the potato croquette. We came for a birthday with a cake and they even took a polaroid picture for us Such a cute way to make memories with your loved ones

I came here for a belated birthday celebration and it was all very serendipitous because we originally planned to go to a different bistro on finch, but it had an emergency closure so we tried to go to Menami but they were full, so we finally called Mujae who had a table for 10 available, and so we made the 5 min drive down and got seated in the most dreamy atmosphere, with good food, great service, and free birthday shots. Overall the food was pretty good. They have a lot of unique items like perilla cream kalguksu and truffle oil japchae. My favourite had to be the grilled squid (we ended up ordering two of those lol) and the fries they serve are also delicious, but then some items didn't taste quite as expected. For example the kimchi jjim was overly sour and not spicy at all. I think we were all expecting Cho Sun Ok quality the mushroom jigae was also just okay Because we came for my birthday, we also brought a cake and only after did we realize they have a birthday promotion where if you bring your own cake, you can take a cute Polaroid pic and you get free birthday shots. I've never seen a restaurant offer a service like this so it was really fun, and we were all surprised they gave us tequila shots (we thought it'd just be soju or something) for the entire table. It was a great experience overall and I'd definitely come back again to experience more food and more of the beautiful decor.

5 stars for everything about this restaurant. Good vibes, great food, amazing customer service. They were so busy but still kept up with our food orders and the food came out fairly quickly. Best dishes were the garlic butter edamame, oden soup and the slider with fries - almost reminds me of the HK pineapple bun!

The tartare is highly recommended! The raw beef mixed with raw egg and sesame oil tastes amazing — super flavorful and well balanced. The kara-age was fried perfectly, and the special house sauce gave it a nice twist. The pancake was just okay for me, a bit too oily. The servers were really friendly too.

What a great addition to this neighbourhood! I tried MUJAE for the first time recently with a few friends and really enjoyed the food and ambiance there. We went on a busy Friday night so there was a bit of a wait but our server was very apologetic and honestly the food came out pretty fast. The only thing I didn't love was how loud the music was and it made it a little hard to catch up. The seafood pancake, beef tartare, and perilla mushroom udon were definitely the highlights of the meal and the flavours were on point. The yuzu highball was also really delicious! I would love to come back and try their other items and drinks. Really great spot to hang out and grab a bite with friends. Almost reminds me of the modern Korean spots in NYC.

Love the vibes they were going for in this little Korean-inspired fusion spot. The menu is small but has a decent variety. A nice late-night spot for light eats and drinks. Our favourite dish was the beef tartare - it lookes plain, but was seasoned phenomenally with lots of sesame oil and spice. They also use thinly shaved beef slices which was very good texturally. The only downside was that it didn't come with anything to eat the tartare on, so you're just eating bites of raw beef. The pork ribs were super tender and flavourful as well. The potato pepperoni pancake was very crispy, but far too oily to be enjoyable. We also enjoyed the fish cakes which were a very large portion compared to the other dishes. Overall I would recommend coming here if you want a lighter meal to share with friends. There's a nice ambiance (although the music was a touch too loud).

Food I came here with friends and we decided to share several dishes so we could try a bit of everything. The Korean pancake was packed with green onions and seafood, making it a great option to split. It was mild and well balanced. The Perilla Cream Kalguksu was rich and comforting, though I do wish the menu had clearly listed the ingredients since it contained quite a lot of mushrooms. Mushrooms are not my favourite, but the flavour was subtle enough that it did not overpower the dish. I enjoyed the creamy sauce and would have loved it even more without the mushrooms. The Korean style pork ribs with truffle fries were a standout for me. The meat fell right off the bone and the fries were perfectly cooked. The Tteokgalbi sliders with fries were also delicious and easy to share. They were cut into four pieces rather than served as mini burgers as I expected, but that was not a big issue. Overall, there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from, so it is easy to find something that suits your taste. Service The staff were professional and friendly, and overall the service was great. They checked in on us regularly and kept our water glasses filled, which we appreciated. We were seated near the windows where it was a bit cold, and I do wish we had been asked for our seating preference since I would have chosen a booth. Aside from that, everything was handled well. Ambiance I loved the cozy decor. There was plenty of seating, and the restaurant feels tucked away, giving it a true hidden gem atmosphere.
